E. J. Gemeny

E. J. Gemeny, for many years a resident of this city passed away Saturday night at the home of his son in Chicago. The remains were brought to this city and the funeral was held yesterday afternoon with short graveside services by Rev. Buckner.

Mr. Gemeny was a native of Virginia, but came to Kansas shortly after the close of the Civil War. His wife died some years ago.

He was 85 years old at the time of his death and is survived by these children, William and Ernest of Chicago, and Mrs. Beatrice Leighton of east 15th street, this city, and twelve grand children.
